Training on the Food Processing, Preservation and Storage process
Tarayana’s Field Officers are currently undergoing training on the food processing, preservation and storage process, facilitated by Aum Kesang Choden, Proprietor of Chuniding Food. The training started from 18th October and will go on till 31st October 2021, at Chuniding Resort in Babesa, Thimphu.
This training was organized mainly to address the issue of excess production, limited access to market and spoilage of vegetables & other agricultural produces due to the lack of knowledge, skills and equipment in the rural areas. The Field Officers will help in imparting the learnings from this training to the rural community members of their respective field sites.
