Mr. Huib Mijnarends, Minister Plenipotentiary-Deputy Head of Mission, Ms. Josephine Van Zanten, Second Secretary- Political Affairs & Human Rights Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, India, Aum Phuntshok Chhoden Tshering, Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Bhutan and other officials visited Sali village, Dogar Gewog, Paro, to monitor the ongoing Gender Empowerment and Financial Inclusion training under the project Empowering Rural Communities through Targeted Skills (Both Professional as well as Personal) Training Initiatives support by the Embassy.
During their visit, the team observed hands-on training sessions and connected with participants, who shared their stories of growth and empowerment through these valuable skills.
The day also included a stop at our Springshed Management intervention sites, where we showcased our nature-based solutions in action! Seeing these community-driven efforts in action was truly inspiring for everyone involved.
